How does Surtn answer compliance questions?+

Surtn uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), which means it searches through official South African FAIS and FICA regulations, your company's specific policies, and industry best practices to provide grounded answers. It doesn't generate answers from the open web, which prevents hallucinations.

Can Surtn replace my Key Individual?+

How fast are the answers?+

What happens to my company policies when I upload them?+

Your company policies are stored securely and integrated into Surtn's knowledge base. They're never shared with other customers. Only your team has access. You can update them anytime.

Can regulators access Surtn's audit trail?+

You have complete access to the audit trail. You can download reports and provide them to regulators during audits. This is your documentation.

What about data privacy and customer information?+

Customer information isn't stored in Surtn unless you upload it. Conversations between your team and Surtn are encrypted. We follow best practices for data protection.

What's included in the free trial?+

Your 14-day free trial gives you full access to Essentials tier features: unlimited questions, basic policy upload, escalation workflow, basic dashboard, and 5 user seats. After 14 days, you choose to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.

How long does implementation take?+

Most implementations are complete within 2 weeks. We handle onboarding, policy uploads, user setup, and team training. Your team is productive quickly.

Can I change plans?+

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. Changes take effect the next billing cycle.

What if I need custom development?+

Surtn flags uncertainty. If a situation has regulatory gray area or nuance, it will say so and recommend escalation to your KI.

Surtn has a 95%+ accuracy rating based on customer feedback. In the rare cases where an answer isn't perfectly clear or complete, we flag it for KI review. It's AI, so use professional judgment alongside it.

What if regulations change?+
